The client
A NSW government department funding training providers through a contract that had recently introduced significantly strengthened RTO obligations.
What they asked for
A workshop program to help contracted providers understand the new requirements and what they meant for day-to-day practice.
What we did
Working closely with the department, we developed the full program: workshop design, session plans, slides and a participant workbook with practical activities. We piloted the materials with a group of high-performing RTOs and with department staff and stakeholders, and refined them before roll-out.
Delivery
We then delivered the workshops, under the department’s direction, to more than 2,000 participants in more than 75 sessions across metropolitan, regional and rural NSW. Participant feedback was overwhelmingly positive.
Related work
We have also developed and delivered workshops on supporting apprentices and trainees, supporting skills recognition, and funding agreement compliance.
What the client received
- A complete, tested workshop program and participant materials
