Our story

An idea that started over coffee

An idea that started over coffee on Barrack St in Sydney’s CBD in 2009 has grown into a company that provides audit and compliance services to registering bodies and consulting services to government agencies and RTOs in all states and territories of Australia.

Based out of our offices at Canberra Technology Park in the ACT, we are a bricks and mortar business including a panel of experienced consultants who are able to provide tailored services to support our client base.

Our vision is to be the preferred VET compliance partner for businesses operating in the Australian VET sector.

Mission

Our mission is to provide high quality professional services to our clients so they can develop and build internal capacity to meet the requirements of the VET Quality Framework, and associated legislation and funding contracts.

Aim

Our aim is to be known for professional and qualified consultants, quality monitoring and auditing services, professional and timely products, practical and clear advice, and quality documentation.

Principal Consultant

Rainer Wilton

Rainer Wilton is the principal consultant of the Barrack St Compliance Co, specialising in RTO standards and funding contract compliance, resource development, grant writing, and project management.

Rainer has led more than 250 audits at state and national level, and has provided compliance consulting to more than 85 RTOs across Australia. His work includes Standards for RTOs audits, funding contract and group training organisation audits, professional development workshops, and ongoing compliance consulting for a range of RTOs.

Rainer's qualifications include a Bachelor of Science (Human Resource Management), a Master of Business (Organisational Development and Entrepreneurship), ISO 9000 series auditor and lead auditor certification, and qualifications and units from the Business Services and Training and Assessment Training Packages.

Outside work, Rainer is involved in community sport in the ACT.
